Meet Dianne

When I compose, depth and purpose are important.

Whether portraying the emotion and milestones in life’s journey, or creating sonic pictures of the world around us, my aim is to be real and touch others human beings in meaningful ways.

I connect with audiences in honest, transparent performances and compose music that gives voice to life’s experiences.

Music has been a healing agent in my life...

…and an avenue for joy and self expression. My older sister died when I was eleven years old and playing the piano was the only outlet I had for the intense loss I suffered.

(When I’m not composing, playing, or teaching, you will catch me doing a jigsaw puzzle, snow shoeing in the Cascades, and reading Jane Austen.
